The Content Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of marketing strategies to drive acquisition and retention for GES’ global brand. The Content Marketing Manager effectively interacts with internal and external client teams across all digital advertising disciplines to create high value content for owned and earned media channels.  Working with both agency and internal partners, the Content Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day creation and editorial management of all digital content. The Content Manager will be responsible for maintaining the corporate voice and tone throughout digital marketing organization and will assist our marketing team members hone their writing skills and evangelizing an outside in approach to content marketing.  As a member of the Digital Marketing team, the Content Manager is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating digital content across media, creative, and website experiences. The job requires that close attention be paid to how the entire digital channel works to bring to life brand positioning and campaign communications in the most innovative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Write consistent, concise, and human-sounding product copy.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and subject matter experts to create meaningful user experiences.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Will learn all of GES’ product and service lines inside and out, and advocate for how your content recommendations fit with company goals.
  • Create and help maintain writing guidelines that are in line with GES’ brand and voice.
  • Champion the value of content marketing among other teams at GES.
  • Mentor and guide your colleagues who are also passionate about writing.

Qualifications

 

 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience writing or editing for web and mobile experiences.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Content Strategist, Product Writer, or Copywriter.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Is passionate about creating great user experiences—you anticipate user needs, and always advocate for them.
  • Can learn use cases on the fly and collaborate with anyone to get things done.
  • Loves both strategy and hands-on writing and editing.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced organization.
  • Loves change and maintains a flexible attitude to writing.
  • Has experience creating or maintaining Content Style Guides.
  • Is passionate about having a single voice and tone across an entire multi-faceted product.
