The Account Representative will coordinate and oversee all planning and production of assigned GES Electrical tradeshow and productions.

  • Primary contact for facility in regards to GES Electrical and cleaning services for all tradeshow and production activity
  • Initiate the exhibitor kit production and maintenance for GES Electrical tradeshows, including exhibitor list maintenance
  • Prepare show workbench activation and maintenance for GES Electrical tradeshows and productions.
  • Prepare and distribute organizer work orders as necessary.
  • Attends show management, operations, and facility meetings to ensure there is follow up in action items and effective planning.
  • Acts as a liaison with show management, exhibitors, venue contacts, and production personnel with regard to GES Electrical and cleaning services.
  • Assists Account Manager at facility as needed by handling a specific area or function, order entry and assisting with facility needs.
  • Maintain and communicate all requests and services in a timely fashion; Proactively pursue missing information and potential shortfalls in contracts and scheduling.
  • Reconcile and bill all GES Electrical and cleaning services for assigned projects
  • Prepare and submit all GES required reports, reconciliations and other items as needed (on daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis)
  • Submit all required Electrical permitting requests for facility
  • Submit PO’s for all non-GES tradeshow cleaning requests
  • Adhere to facility standards for code of conduct and rules/regulations. This includes proper dress/uniforms, name tag, cleanliness of persons, office and storage areas.
  • Maintain constant communication with Show Organizer and submit estimates in a timely fashion; continually update estimates as changes occur and process all Order Confirmations and final Invoices within GES standards
  • Assist with facility forecasting efforts to ensure data is current and revised as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Supervisor and Preferred Property Account Manager.


  • College degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the tradeshow, convention, hospitality industry of special event planning preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must function well in remote environments with little to no daily supervision
  • Good financial experience with budgeting, estimating and forecasting
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Good organizational skills.

Work Environment

  • Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities.
  • Must be comfortable working in shared space in remote location
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Requires work on nights, weekends and at showsite.
  • Position may require long hours during several months of the year.
