    The Corporate Accounts Production Manager is responsible for leading production and operations team members to efficiently and effectively produce and service custom exhibit/tradeshow/museum/retail fabrication, rental, and warehouse services orders.   These production and service activities include the use of CNC (CAM), CAD, bar-code inventory, ERP, estimating and cost accounting systems and processes. The Production Manager directly leads and manages personnel including Carpentry, Project Management, and Operations Support personnel and works closely with Sales, Design, Estimating, Engineering, Installation, Tradeshow, Finance, and Billing groups to ensure that orders produced and facilitated through their production teams meet the cost and quality requirements of the project. Production Managers must be able to effectively lead diverse and creative teams towards meeting or exceeding project goals in a fast paced, custom/job-shop manufacturing and warehouse environment. This leadership includes a strong commitment to continuous improvement and customer service. Production Managers are responsible for safety, job performance, quality, cost controls, overhead plans, equipment, employee management (hire, fire, training, and review) for their staff at their facilities. In addition, Production Managers closely participate and partner with the National Corporate Accounts Production Team to lead and manage projects and initiatives.


      • All Project Management Job Duties (as required to fill roll when needed)
      • Forecast PM and project/shop demand using estimating system reports & partner with Estimating on new opportunities to set manufacturing/whse locations
      • Set assignments/auto-assignments in system by account as required
      • Plan workload by PM to meet project goals
      • Monitor PM project performance and adjust schedules and resources as required
      • Ensure National Director of Operations is aware of future shop demand and any schedule risks
      • Work with Sales and Sales Management team to address order delays or production concerns
      • Ensure PM time is accurately applied in a timely manner
      • Run project costs to ensure cost performance is on schedule
      • Train new hires
      • Set yearly goals, monitor progress quarterly and provide annual review
      • Recruit and hire staff per staffing plan
      • Work closely with all GES departments to ensure project execution
      • Identify improvement areas and provide solutions to management and staff as part of continuous improvement efforts


    • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Exhibit Construction/Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, Industrial Design or related fields.
    • Prior experience managing staff preferred
    • 5 to 10 years related experience
    • Thorough knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and graphics.
    • Ability to analyze available information and make sound decisions
    • Excellent communication skills
