    The Producer will plan, coordinate and oversee Corporate & Live Event production and provide on-site supervision at event venues for a variety of industries, clients, and accounts. Creative and strategy will drive the Producer’s ability to execute our tenants of Event to Community, Message to a Movement, Space to a Place.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the management of events from planning stages through collection of invoice, including: collaborating with clients to collect information; floor plan management; writing work orders; overseeing the creation, approval and distribution of service kits; working with internal departments to ensure work orders are completed; overseeing the set-up and tear down of events; and generating event organizer invoices and following up until collected.
    • Present side by side with our sales team our ability and strategy to achieve our client’s goal of the event.
    • Act as a liaison with event management, exhibitors, facility staffs, production personnel, internal clients and ancillary vendors with regard to all services and build working relationships with all.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Finance during the proposal proforma development.
    • Works with Executive Producer to create event budget. Handles day to day management of event budget.
    • Ensure all events are produced within established budget guidelines. Budget and fiscal responsibility on assigned events including accuracy, forecasting and management.
    • Supports Executive Producer and Salesperson with client relationship.
    • Fulfill roll in Countdown and Capacity Planning process as required on assigned events.
    • Manages outside vendors and freelance workers in support of the planning and execution of events.
    • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Director of Event Operations/event Executive Producer.
    • Travel approximately 35%. 

    Qualifications

    • College Degree Preferred.
    • Knowledge of event/tradeshow industry
    • 5 years of tradeshow production or similar experience.
      • General accounting and finance knowledge with the ability to manage events to budget.
      • Strong negotiation skills.
      • Leadership skills and business acumen.
      • Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task.
      • Self-starter able to work independently.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication.
      • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to pro-actively provide practical solutions in an ambiguous, time sensitive and fast paced environment.

    Work Environment

    • Travel approximately 35%. 
    • Will require the ability to interact and lead union labor.
    • Must be available to work nights, weekends and at show site.
    • Position averages 60-70 hours per week during several months of the year.
    • Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities.
    • Requires intensive client interaction and responsiveness, much greater than tradeshows require.
    • Service level expectation is significantly more than managing tradeshows.
