    We simplify the complex housing portion (AKA the hotel reservation part) of event planning, packing in a ton of service at a low cost for exhibitors and attendees while putting the minds of meeting organizers at ease and increasing their revenue for future events.

     

    Account Services is the department of onPeak that takes the lead servicing our client accounts. They’re a savvy, hands-on crew that leads account teams, determines our overall event housing strategy and manages hotel inventory within our Compass Reservation System®. The team is collaborative and motivated, fostering growth through smart strategy, great communication and high quality customer service.

    Responsibilities

    Building Hotels + Maintaining Global Hotel Profiles:

    • Maintains hotel profile (global hotels)
    • Builds Meeting hotels in Compass
    • Builds hotel and meeting level incentives
    • Builds hotel specific cancel/change/deposit polices
    • Builds payment methods
    • Builds room types and blocks (but not inventory)

     

    Rooming Lists + Preparing for Cut off:

    • Manages all no-name/duplicate reservations to ensure they are named and cleared before rooming lists are sent to the hotel
    • Sends initial rooming lists at cut-off
    • Creates and informs hotels of their AXIS login information via Fogbugz
    • Troubleshoots hotel questions for AXIS users
    • Troubleshoots hotel questions regarding reservations and rooming list discrepancies
    • Runs updated lists on contracted cancel/replace dates or final cut off dates
    • Follows up with hotels on any unopened rooming lists
    • Uploads hotel confirmations and resend confirmations to event participants
    • Manages waitlist follow-up and waitlist communication
    • Resolves invalid and declined credit card reservations
    • Assists in the relocation of guests in oversold situations

     

    Audits:

    • Initializes, tracks and completes hotel audits within 21 days post show for proper financial wrap up
    • Compiles audit results for Account Executive and Exhibitor/Group Services Analyst

    Qualifications

    • College Degree or commensurate experience
    • 1+ years of travel/hospitality industry experience preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organization, prioritization and analytical skills
    • Team player with exceptional interpersonal and project management skills
    • Must be proactive, detail oriented and able to multi-task
    • Ability to easily grasp technical concepts to learn the Compass Reservation System®
    • Strong technical aptitude in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
