    The Warehouse Manager (Warehouse Usage / Dispatch Manager) schedules warehouse and driver labor, supervise the loading and unloading of all trailers to show site and to oversee Freight, Logistics and Decorating Delivery of the highest level of hassle-free customer service in the most efficient manner possible.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and schedule warehouse labor and seniority Teamster labor for show site
    • Coordinate and Schedule all warehouse and driver labor
    • Conduct warehouse and driving operations in accordance with the Teamster Collective Bargaining Agreement
    • Oversee trailer inventory
    • Timely rental and return and all tractors and straight trucks
    • Maintain ScOPE for warehouse to show site shipments
    • Oversee inventory accuracy for DECO, Carpet and Drape
    • Conduct annual Physical Inventory
    • Maintain driver DOT file compliance
    • Develop task standards and work to improve efficiencies
    • Oversee the accurate receipt and loading of exhibitor and show management freight
    • Track and expedite Return To Warehouse freight from Show Site
    • Monitor the accurate loading of DECO and Freight trailers for Show Site
    • Monitor DECO returns from show site and report shortages/damages
    • Coordinate DECO transfers between cities
    • Return DECO transfers on time and accurately
    • Assist in maintenance of Fixed Assets Inventory
    • Oversee time card accuracy
    • Assist Warehouse Manager in identifying P&L labor needs and maintaining plan

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivelant Required
    • College Degree preferred
    • Required three (3) to seven (7) years in an operational environment, experience which was inclusive of management/supervisory functions. (hire, fire, discipline, coach, train and develop talent).
    • Strong dispatch and driver supervision skills
    • Familiarity with DOT and IFTA regulations
    • Experience reading floor plans, and construction drawings and use of CAD and Adobe experience preferred 
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Prefer LEAN Six Sigma project experience or other form of continuous improvement experience for operational processes. 
    • Must demonstrate ability to interface with individuals in a supervisory capacity as well as have the ability to comfortably interface with customers and senior level managers.
    • Must demonstrate proficiency in basic financial and computer skills.
    • Attention to detail in all documentation.
