    This position is responsible for assisting exhibitors at trade shows/conventions produced by GES.   Strong customer service skills required to provide first class face to face service at show site.  Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Handle customer inquiries with appropriate and timely follow through. 

    Responsibilities

    • Personal Customer Service with exhibitors.
    • Up selling when and where appropriate.
    • Show site management of exhibitor base, customer care, billing, receivables.
    • Perform the customer care function, pre-show and at show-site, including handling exhibitor inquiries and service needs with appropriate follow through.
    • Act as liaison between GES exhibitor base and all internal and external customers.
    • Proactive contact of exhibitors for pre-show information relating to orders and/or payment. Troubleshoot and resolve exhibitor issues.
    • Active participation in pre-show planning process (to include JUMP).
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Exhibitor Service manager and supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Problem solving skills. Solid computer experience, fluent in Microsoft office.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills. Be a people person.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Must be able to walk long distances.
    • Takes direction well.
    • CORE/Oracle knowledge.

    Work Environment

    • May require overtime during busy periods.
    • Work performed in an office setting- sitting at a computer and filing.
    • May be required to assume role of Exhibitor Services Coordinator as necessary.
    • Ability to work night and weekends.
    • Flexible work schedule.
    • Travel is required.
