    The Operations Coordinator position for the Rigging Department will assist in supporting the department in various roles.  The main focus is to assist the Vice President, Account Manager and General Foreman in the pre-planning process, gathering information to maintain a smooth and successful show, assisting onsite with labor entry, collections, service desk, and post show follow up on client’s request.  Other responsibilities that will be involved with this position will be listed below:


    • Proactive contact with exhibitors to receive Rigging Labor orders and floorplans.
    • Assist Rigging General Foreman with labor tickets, and collecting missing information from exhibitors.
    • Process Rigging labor orders once received.
    • Working closely with Exhibitor Services to ensure they have all the information for the master files.
    • Assist Account Manager with booking travel for Riggers when needed.
    • Assist Account Manager with requesting Per Diem for traveling Riggers when needed.
    • Assist AM and VP with organizing files, keeping information current, and in an accessible location.
    • Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet constant deadlines.
    • Keep Managers and Rigging team informed, and up to date on all issues or concerns.
    • Cross training in other departments to understand the importance of communicating and working as a team, as well as being an asset if needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Demonstrate leadership ability.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office program.
    • Must be able to work in fast pace environment, and meet deadlines with little supervision.
    • Must be willing to travel, and have a flexible schedule including working evenings and weekends.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and self-starter with an understanding of team goals.
    • Must be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner in stressful situations.

    Work Environment

    • 50% or more of work is performed at the Convention Centers.
    • Will be working in adverse temperature conditions.
    • Working long periods of time which involve sitting, or walking great distances on the show floor.
    • Work involves repetitive motion (i.e. constant keying, using fingers, or grasping of objects).
