    Wow I Didn’t Know GES Did That:

    Our Operations Coordinator will support the operations department in the performance of administrative activities, in an office and tradeshow production setting.


    • Prepare payroll in proprietary program for Union Laborers at offsite properties during tradeshow production, to include W4 and I9 completion for new hire paperwork.
    • Perform daily sign in/sign out function of Union Laborers, to include providing departmental assignments, offsite at tradeshow.
    • Prepare Reports in Oracle based program to preplan for tradeshow production, as well as offsite at tradeshow.
    • Perform safety functions, to include preparing safety data to populate shared excel documents as part of tradeshow preplanning, as well as incident reporting/investigation at site.Support Operations Management with preparation of Work Orders and Production drawings, compiling and providing in book format, in duplicate or triplicate. 
    • Support Operations Management with preplan of events to include preparation of show folders with appropriate forms, reports and equipment as needed.
    • Enter purchase requisitions into Oracle to support all operational needs including product, services and purchases for Orlando and Atlanta facilities.
    • Vendor relations-acquiring information to establish account for new vendors as well as following up with vendors on order ETA.
    • Maintain Certification files and attend all training classes as administrative support for forklifts, carts/scooters, and aerial lifts.
    • Represent the Company, as appropriate, in a professional manner. 
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and events.   
    • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Operations Support Supervisor and Senior Operations Management.


    • Three to five (3-5) years of customer service and administrative experience, preferred.
    • Knowledge of convention industry, preferred.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with little supervision.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and self-starter with an understanding of team goals.
    • Must be able to multi task and work within a group environment.

    Work Environment

    • Will be required to perform work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting. 
    • Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere.
    • Requires working with union and non-union employees.
