    Our Warehouse Supervisor will help supervise all aspects of pre-show and post-show operations that pertain to material planning and control (Usage), material loading and unloading, Load Lists, equipment delivery plans and transfers between the GES Network. Our Exhibitor Hanging Sign line of business and Show Organizer signage will be a top priority in this role. To direct and supervise the Warehouse Usage crews and Drivers in support of the show site OM’s. To provide superior and hassle free services to our clients in the most efficient and economical manner possible.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain planning processes and tools such as ScOPE, the Load List, and Show Site shipments with the assistance of the Warehouse Manager
    • Develop and schedule Warehouse staffing levels & assist with show site Labor calls
    • Create and execute Exhibitor Hanging Sign plans with the showsite Operations team
    • Create and execute Exhibitor Hanging Sign plans with individual Exhibitors and Show Organizers
    • Expedite and document the Return to Warehouse materials sent to Show Site and report all exceptions, shortages and damages
    • Expedite and document the Furniture & Decorating Equipment Transfers between GES cities in an accurate and timely manner
    • Assist in counting & maintaining Annual and Fixed Asset Inventory items
    • Conduct Warehouse Operations in accordance with current Collective Bargaining Agreements
    • GES procedures and policies—especially safety and Always Honest
    • Other Duties as assigned by the Director of Warehouse Operations
    • Supervise all Warehouse processes. This will include the Load List, equipment delivery plans, and loading plans (for both move in and move out) for all shows. Work with the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Department leaders, Operations Department, Account Managers.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
    • College Degree preferred
    • Five(5) to Seven(7) years in an operational environment, experience inclusive of management/supervisory functions
    • Prior supervisory experience within a unionized environment preferred
    • Experience with Electrical parts and function preferred
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Prefer LEAN Six Sigma project experience or other form of continuous improvement experience for operational processes
