    The Senior Graphics Technician (operating within the Graphics Depot) is responsible for providing computer services for Tradeshow and Exhibit graphic requirements. The position involves handling, rebuilding, and formatting multiple computer file types and digital media for varying final output destinations. The Graphic Tech requires a unique blending of desktop publishing, graphic design, digital imaging, and prepress, as well as strong interpersonal skills.


    • Operates and maintains computer-aided sign making equipment, software programs and color printers.
    • Performs layout functions using desktop publishing software on the computer (current workload dictates 90% pure computer production, 10% actual creative design).
    • Typesets client copy to graphic proof in an expedited and accurate timeframe
    • Proof readS completed work for accuracy
    • Assists in answering computer graphics software questions as requested by GES clients.
    • Operates a Macintosh operating system, PC operating system, and with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and various other operating utilities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Graphics Department Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Lead Person.



    • Three (3) years experience in Graphics production, including two (2) years computer design experience or equivalent combination thereof as shown in a portfolio.
    • Mandatory experience (three years) using Adobe Illustrator.
    • High School diploma; prefer two (2) years college.
    • Computer knowledge and experience in PC and Macintosh platforms including Microsoft Office products.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to use various measuring tools and mathematical proficiency (fractions, decimals).
    • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.                                                            


    Work Environment


    • No relocation assistance available.
    • Hourly position.  Sunday-Monday: 7am-330pm / Tuesday-Thursday: 2pm-1030pm
    • Flexibility with work schedule (required to change shifts and work days as business needs dictate). Flexibility with weekday and weekend work hours (must be able to work overtime as business needs dictate).
    • Ability to work under pressure.
