    Responsibilities

    Assist members of the Sales department along with the Director of Sales in daily administrative functions. This includes incoming and outgoing phone calls (answering, re-directing), creating and monitoring sales reports, maintaining records,  internal and external  correspondance, processing of expenses, coordination of business trips, scheduling of internal and external appointments, meetings, etc.

    • Assist in the creation of sales contracts and sales proposals using Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
    • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules for team
    • Maintain office supply inventories
    • Create Purchase Orders and obtain Checks for department costs
    • Receive and direct vistors and clients
    • Assist with organizing sales events

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    • High School Graduate or GED required
    • Three (3) plus years secretarial/clerical experience preferably in the trade show or related industry

    Skills/Competencies: 

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills
    • Attention to Detail, Professionalism
    • Problem assessment and problem solving
    • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tool desirable – Salesforce.com preferred
    • Flexibility and adaptability
    • Proficient computer experience: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Must be able to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Must be a self-starter with a cooperative attitude and able to work well with others
    • Must be able to work independently using professional judgment in handling multiple tasks
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality

    Work Environment

    Will require heavy amounts of time spent at the computer.
