We are seeking a Tradeshow, Events and Protocol Strategist to be located on-site and dedicated to Bell Helicopter, one of our largest corporate global clients with headquarters in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.  You’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing various brand engagements to enable sales growth and generate demand for Bell Helicopter’s products and services while building customer loyalty. The Tradeshow, Events and Protocol Strategist plans, develops, implements and directs small to large scale global trade shows, meetings, seminars, receptions and sponsored events.  You will be equally responsible for planning, developing, implementing and directing small to large scale visits, events and conferences both domestically and internationally to meet overall enterprise sales objectives.

    • Manages and ensures trade show and event completions from beginning to end, along with developing strategic and tactical marketing communications support initiatives
    • Serves as a global brand ambassador incorporating and upholding prescribed global brand standards across all activities and sales support materials
    • Works with exhibit service companies to execute established requirements including facilitating domestic/international shipping of trade show materials/aviation-related products, structural design, space layouts encompassing physical products, electrical, lighting, video, graphics and other key experiential elements
    • Prefer experience managing shows and events with budgets up to and greater than $50K plus and evaluating efforts to measure ultimate impact and effectiveness
    • Coordinates with multiple departments, divisions and other sister companies to ensure brand standards, strategic marketing communications and sales objectives are achieved
    • Plans and procures space for exhibits, meetings, conferences, events and hotel accommodations as well as securing attendee credentials and facilitating transportation arrangements
    • Works with industry/segment colleagues, sales teams and other internal departments to develop and drive branded event/protocol programs with high value, high impact and high return on investment (ROI)
    • Creates and executes multiple trade show and event/protocol projects as well as other unique/ad-hoc projects as assigned
    • Successfully completes trade shows from beginning to end along with implementing strategic and tactical support initiatives
    • Works with exhibit companies/vendors in the design and production of exhibit properties, graphics, multimedia elements, audio visual requirements and the exhibit installation/dismantling process
    • Establishes and delivers marketing tactics to successfully launch new products and/or communicate product enhancements, service offerings or unique selling propositions to maximize global sales in trade show and event environments
    • Analyzes available information and make sound decisions to deliver superior brand experiences
    • Working with the Manager, Brand Experience, determine standard visit, event and ceremonial guidelines, including proper seating plans, guest lists, gifts and dress codes
    • Advises stakeholders on global customs and rules of politeness and courtesy established between an individual and society to ensure relations between Bell Helicopter and key stakeholders run smoothly
    • Ensures visit and event completions from beginning to end, fosters goodwill among Bell Helicopter visitors and guests
    • Plans, executes and supports a wide range of ceremonial and official visits hosted by company leadership
    • Understands protocol practices and the importance of incorporating global standards across all projects; serves as an advisor on applying these standards across the business
    • Advises stakeholders on appropriate customer gifts, etiquette and engagements

    • Professional ability to adapt to multiple settings/environments and shifting responsibilities
    • Superior project and time management skills along with the consistent ability to meet and exceed fast-turn and accelerated deadlines
    • Capable of working independently and as part of a team on all trade shows, serve as the main direct point of contact for facilitating Executive Leadership Team/C-Suite Executive Leader requirements at domestic and international trade shows
    • Skilled at managing budgets for trade shows and marketing communications programs and services
    • Possess project management and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple trade show and marketing communications projects simultaneously, work within budgets and negotiate with suppliers
    • Knowledge of various business, sales, marketing and management principles involved in deploying marketing communications initiatives to deliver maximum business results
    • Ability to interact with and offer feedback to internal/external stakeholders utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Capable of completing a variety of ad-hoc projects as assigned
    • Bachelor’s in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related field
    • Prefer minimum: 3+ years of tradeshow and events experience
    • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and must be able to spend up to 8 hours on your feet during a work shift
    • Software: Solid PC software skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project etc.)
    • Ability to travel 50% or more annually, both domestically and internationally as required
    • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) credentials and Protocol credentials are a plus
