    The Operations Coordinator position for the Electrical Department is required to assist with office responsibilities. Keep track of all the orders received within the department, and communicate with the Leads to aide in the pre-planning of electrical needs on shows with exhibitors and reaching our goal of 87% of electrical information on every show. The administrative role would also include keeping inventory and following up on equipment when the shows are over.

    Responsibilities

    • Tracking all orders that come in for all shows for Las Vegas.
      • Respond to basic emails that come through the LV mailbox.
    • Create exhibitor files for upcoming shows.
    • Answer inbound calls and respond to exhibitors inquiries.
    • Run reports to be emailed to the team on a daily basis.
    • Prep and pro-actively contact exhibitors to receive electrical orders on TradeShowElectrical Only Shows.
      • Follow-up contact with exhibitors to clarify orders.
      • Process electrical orders and generate work orders for electrical labor.
      • Review and audit electrical orders against floor plans ensuring their accuracy.
      • Organize electrical orders to ensure correct dispatching at show site.
    • Prep and pro-actively contact exhibitors with plumbing orders for shows at Caesar properties.
    • Completing inventory and assigning company equipment to coordinators. 
    • Filing post show paperwork and confirming all items were returned from showsite.
    • Be the liaison with Exhibitor Services on surveys that were submitted by the Electrical department.
    • Prioritize tasks & responsibilities to meet deadlines and complete highest priorities first.
    • Keep Managers and Team Managers up to date on all issues.
    • Perform all duties with the utmost integrity avoiding any conflict of interest between GES and any other entities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Demonstrate leadership ability.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office program. 
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with little supervision.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and self-starter with an understanding of team goals.

    Work Environment

    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
    • 20% of the work is performed at the convention center, working in adverse temperature conditions, sitting and walking at/to the various service/dispatch desks.
    • Work may involve repetitive motion (i.e. constant keying, using fingers, or grasping of objects).
