Our team is looking for a Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director in the Glendale, California area to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate has experience and passion in the exhibition/ hospitality space. This role will provide leadership and be responsible for the overall goals and financial performance.


  • Directs regional corporate accounts sales personnel on all marketing and sales efforts in order to maintain and grow existing client relationships and acquire new business.
  • Manages the sales pipeline and owns regional P&L and is responsible for maintaining a profitable client portfolio that meets or exceeds established sales and margin targets.
  • Familiar with the B2B space and can be a strategic partner
  • Assists in the implementation and execution of administrative sales policies to assure all business transactions are practiced in the most efficient and effective manner, and in compliance with company practices and procedures.
  • Prepares and presents clear, compelling and persuasive sales presentations that demonstrate GES’s value proposition and core capabilities to our customers.
  • Participates in regular client reviews, client meetings and attends important client shows as needed; meets with clients to foster client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develops new ideas to drive revenue growth on assigned accounts; develops and executes new client acquisition strategies.
  • Attends industry events, and maintains active memberships in related professional associations such as IAEE, PCMA, HCEA, ESCA and any other relevant organizations to provide maximum exposure for the Company and network/build relationships with targeted existing clients and prospects.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the general and specific trends of competitors and of the tradeshow industry.
  • Provides direct supervision of all account teams related to the exhibit program sales functions in the region; responsible for the recruitment, staffing and coaching of account teams as appropriate.


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Higher level degree preferred with 10-12 years’ experience in roles of increased and progressive responsibility.
  • 8+ years’ sales experience with a minimum of three (3) years of sales leadership experience managing $15-40M in revenue.
  • Ability to travel - significant travel required
  • Selling experience in tradeshow industry preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with a consultative selling style – effective listener.
  • Strong presentation and relationship building skills
  • Solid P&L and operations experience with demonstrated success in managing cost well and improving bottom-line profitability in low margin environments while expanding revenue penetration with existing business and growing market share.
  • Strong operations and General Management focus and a proven track record successfully managing profit growth through building customer relationships.
  • All aspects of people management including Recruiting and developing a strong management team building bench strength within the organization.
  • Strong leadership capacity with successful experience building an organization and strengthening that organization’s capacity to grow and adapt.
