Our Lithia Springs location is seeking a Warehouse Dock Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities

 

  • Schedules loading, delivery and pick-up of all decorating production materials to include GEM, drape, carpet, furniture, booth equipment, and other show site support equipment
  • Inbound processing of returned event production materials and Return to Warehouse Freight
  • Daily tally/manifest record maintenance for scheduled loads/returns
  • Manage/Organize Dock Lanes
  • Support inventory maintenance and recommend expendable purchasing when needed
  • Maintain Accuracy of Inventory and Equipment on Yard/Storage Trailers
  • Participate in Inventory Tasks
  • Support Warehouse Organizing and Housekeeping efforts.
  • Support Continuous Improvement efforts in Warehouse Operations and processes.
  • Responsible for Daily Dock Activities/Priorities – Loading, Unloading
  • Responsible for all rolling stock usage requirements
  • Responsible for accurate outbound/returns and records
  • Designated receiver for all GES purchases
  • Monitors load dispatches for accuracy
  • Handles all shipping and receiving for the Atlanta operation
  • Loads and unloads trucks as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; college preferred
  • Fork Lift Certification/Experience
  • CDL preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Sense of Urgency, able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Computer competencies, Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends.
